Movie Fun and Games

Hello to all of my faithful readers. Most of you have noticed that I almost always sign my name in a different manner. Many of you have discovered that these are often references to early 80s -90s comedies. This has become a sort of game where readers and I comment back and forth with dialog from these particular movies. So, if you catch the movie reference jump in with your favorite dialog, for an example see the comments from the Stressed Out post on January 18th 2006.

Bloggings own version of "Reverend Cleophus James" signing out.

I "see the light". "It is 106 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, a pack of cigarettes, its dark outside and we are wearing sunglasses."

I believe he was the preacher at the Triple Rock church.

This movie has a ton of great lines.

Looking forward to the next.

With your lack of blogging you are definitely no "Joan Wilder" of the internet

JOAN WILDER?! THE Joan Wilder?!!

Nice Jennifer, but don't forget his "little mule".

Last night, Tim was telling me what you had said about Joan Wilder and I hollered out "Romancing The Stone!" and then I found myself saying the words JOAN WILDER?! THE Joan Wilder?!! To which Tim added something about his little mule. I think it's hilarious that you also said it.....but, then, not at all surprising...hahahaha! Tim said I could get on his blog and join in on the movie fun so I thought I would since you guys finally brought up a movie I have seen before. I told Tim it is such a great movie to have to be ruined by a sex scene and foul language. I adore adventure movies and mysteries. I'm really into Sherlock Holmes.

Have you ever seen the movie, Young Sherlock Holmes. It has been awhile, but I remember it being good. I can't recall it's rating, but I don't remember any foul scenes. Although I don't remember the language.

So needless to say I do not know much about the movie, except that I liked it as a teenager. Good luck

Thanks, Aaron! You know, that movie title sounds familiar. I could be getting it mixed up with "Young Einstein". There's one for 'ya. Who played Young Einstein? I know who it was but I thought I'd send you a little trivia myself. I love his name! Ha ;)

Was his name Yahoo Serious?

Good call Tim.

Are you just humoring me by "asking" if that is his name....or are you telling me that is his name. I would be surprised beyond belief if "I" could come up with a movie that you have not seen! HA ;)

And, yes. His name is Yahoo Serious.

Ok. Who was the character and what was the name of the movie.....

"So why don't you make like a tree and get out of here!"

"Hello McFly is there anybody in there?"

I take Biff and Back to The Future for the block.

Sorry I had not checked this post and did not realize you blogged me back.

I thought Yahoo Serious was someone that every one would recognize.
